Le indagini dei Carabinieri del Comando di Forlì e Cesena, iniziate nell'ottobre del 2006 hanno portato all'arresto di un'organizzazione dedita al favoreggiamento e sfruttamento della prostituzione composta da 4 cittadini cinesi regolarmente residenti in Italia. Si tratta di Kamgsen Qiu, detto ‘Carlo', 27enne domiciliato a Castrocaro Terme, che dovrà rispondere anche dell'accusa di riduzione in schiavitù; Qiuwei Wu, detta ‘Wei', 28enne domiciliata a Prato; ed i fratelli Zongping e Haiyan Wang, rispettivamente di 28 e 27 anni ed entrambi domiciliati a Prato.

Tra il 2006 e il 2007 sono state chiuse 11 case d'appuntamento dislocate tra Forlì, Ravenna, Lucca, Prato, Pistoia e Firenze. Almeno 22 donne sono state coinvolte dall'organizzazione.
